Copyright

Copyright law applies to nearly all creative and intellectual works, including images found through a Google search, and applies to us as a public institution. Copyright should be taken into consideration for any creative work produced by Engineering Communications to prevent copyright infringement and legal ramifications. Basic understanding of copyright law will help you determine whether a work is copyrighted, understand fair use, and decide whether you will need to ask permission for a particular use.
