Strategic Communications and Marketing
The Engineering Communications team works with academic and administrative units across the the College of Engineering and the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) to plan and execute strategic communications and marketing plans that include reputation and brand management, message development, digital marketing and social media approaches, multimedia engagement, and web and digital strategy.
Alumni and Donor Relations
The Texas A&M Foundation supports the College of Engineering with funds raised through endowments, planned gifts, gifts of securities or real estate, as well as one-time contributions. These funds are then used to provide support to our students, faculty, programs and facilities. Our Alumni and Donor Relations team supports these efforts through marketing strategy. They also keep our graduates engaged and recognize their accomplishments.
Our department communicators are assigned as primary points of contact for each of our departments to provide critical communications support and customer service. This includes, but is not limited to, updating their department’s section of the college website to provide information to our prospective and current students; writing stories for our website; creating content for print and digital materials; and updating their department’s social media platforms. They share the stories of our hands-on education and student and faculty research, as well as provide marketing support for various programs within their department.
Public-facing digital signage within Texas A&M University engineering buildings, including the Zachry Engineering Education Complex, is available for recognized College of Engineering student organizations, departments and programs. Our digital signage typically promotes events and announcements for engineering students.
Our Events team serves the college’s donors, faculty, staff and students. They work to bring successful events tailored to our clients’ needs while creating cost savings and efficiencies for the college. Their purpose is to create unique opportunities for every guest in making enduring connections and memories. They oversee all donor and alumni events and departmental events with five or more external guests and/or are outside of a department’s own space.
