Texas A&M University College of Engineering departments should maintain timely, relevant content on digital signage screens so that messaging remains engaging and does not become stale. We recommend having a selection of evergreen graphics to fill space when timely content is not available.
Screens supported by Engineering Communications through the REACH platform will use standard templates generated by Engineering Communications. We will work with the department for the best solution for the department’s needs.
The department communicator (or designated party) is responsible for generating/procuring content, such as copy, images, URLs and social handles. Content should be provided to the Digital Signage Team in Engineering Communications to design the digital signage graphics. Departments agree to run a small portion of college/university general interest content as space allows. Department-specific content will take priority.
